During my recent stay at a budget hotel in Malaysia, I had mixed experiences to share. On one hand, the affordability was a significant plus, especially for short trips, with rates around MYR 10.00 per night. The overall condition of the room left much to be desired. Despite changing rooms, I encountered issues with cleanliness-the linens bore stains and the room had an unpleasant odor. The hotel's location was convenient, easily visible from the highway, which made exploration straightforward. the air conditioning and strong water pressure were refreshing after a day out. Customer service varied, with some staff displaying warmth, but there were instances of unprofessionalism that dampened the experience. The hotel offered basic amenities like free newspapers, self-parking, and laundry services, albeit the escalators were non-functional. While it may not be my first choice for future stays, it serves its purpose for travelers seeking budget accommodations in a vibrant area near popular attractions.
